Lost.
When i lost you, i lost myself.
Im staring at our picture on the shelf.
Wondering why it went so horribly wrong.
While listening to our favorite song.
You went on a path that was not mine.
And said "you'll be ok", just give it time.
But time has passed and i'm not ok.
Without you, i've lost my way.
If only.
If only you had faith in me and given us a chance.
You would not have missed out on the greatest romance.
If only you could see the tears in the world you left behind.
You could finally understand you are always on my mind.
If only my words and love had reached your heart.
You would have known we should be together, not apart.
If only you could heal my broken heart just one more time.
You get to keep it, because since the day we met it was always yours not mine.
If only !
Winter.
When winter comes in the heart of men.
And frost chills the soul and freezes all feelings of love and compassion.
This endless winter settles in, not a single ray of sunlight is to be let in.
And as time goes bye winter becomes the only season, for summer, fall or spring there really is no reason.
Trapped in his own cold world of isolation, desolation and despair, his eyes once bright and fiery now have a stonecold stare.
But when in his frozen world a small shimmering light begins to glimmer.
It opens up his darkened eyes, awakened by the shimmer.
And as the increasing intensity of that light begins to melt his frozen heart and soul, he remembers how love feels, and his live once again has a goal.
Let not your heart be frozen by sorrow, regret and defeat, the one who really loves you is someone yet to meet.
Raging sea.
My mind is as a raging sea.
Never with a serene moment.
Always reflecting on what was, and what could be.
Relentless waves pound my ever restless shores.
Dragging back with them every clear view of what the future holds for me.
Al my efforts to calm the storm inside are in vain.
Swimming against the storm and tide only ends in pain.
And when my strength and will gives in to the raging sea.
I give up hope, for that moment of serenity.
So every day i face the storm and fight it once again.
For this is the fate of an eternal restless man
Clouds
Never give in to the disapointment others are to you.
Realize that depending on yourself is the only way you'll get trough.
Look beyond the grey skies, for a single ray of light.
Search for that bright shining star in a cloud covered night.
For some day you will find the star your looking for.
Because you'll never find a rainbow if clouds are all youre looking for.
